PAR AVION from HONG KONG

I love to get packages from all over the world! This one came from HONG KONG and I love the way the stamps look.

Train

I see a lot of trains every day on my way to work but this is the first time I see one that makes me want to take a picture! The repetition and movement were really cool almost hypnotic. I wish I had made a movie.

Header

I think I need a header for the blog let's give this one a try.. Mmmm I don't like it but that's today's entry! I will have to come up with something better.

Some flowers

I got some watercolor paints but it's going to take some time for me to learn basic techniques.
After a few unsuccessful tries on landscapes, water, the sky etc... I turned to this simple flowers and called it a day! I know it's not what a "water color painting" should look like but I got to have an entry for today's blog!

I wanted to write something on the "white space" but nothing came to mind :(

Spring showers

Ok so it's officially spring but, we are still getting rain except we now call it "spring showers" The picture is of some scary dark clouds that rolled in just in time to wash my car wile I went inside the store.

I just remembered something that happened wile I was at the store. There I was complaining about the storm and the casher lady simply said:


I know it's not April yet but what the hell :)

Going BIG

I got this really BIG canvas a few years ago and decided to finally paint it. I don't know what my subject it's going to be but, I hope to find out soon.
P.S. Im all out of paint! need to go get more because im going to need a lot of it!

Columbia River + Airport

This is one of my favorite spots, on one side is the Columbia River and on the other the Portland airport. You can relax by the river look up and see a airplane flying right on top of you I love it.

Keep practicing

I decided that I want to learn how to draw filigree I think it's called filigree im not sure but I often see it on old Victorian furniture, and fabric. This is my first try but i'll keep practicing

Purple flowers

More flowers are blooming every day as spring approaches. These flowers have incredible colors and shapes,I can't believe I hadn't paid much attention to them in the past.

Today was an excellent warm and sunny day so went out for a quick walk and spotted these tiny flowers. I think they look nice.

Stamps

Octopus

I started to paint this but I still have quite a bit to finish it. The canvas is too big and I couldn't scan the entire piece but I scanned the most interesting part. I have been somehow obsessed with tentacles for a wile now I think they are really interesting :)

Nice hair stylist

Most of the times when I go get a haircut the stylist are really chatty and usually I just want to get my haircut done and get out but today the stylist was really nice and I enjoyed our conversation.
