Lately I have been noticing patterns everywhere, this is the pattern on the floor of a restaurant, I sketch it up really fast on my sketch pad using my ring :)

Thanks to the international union of mail-artist I received a postcard from mineapolis so I decided to make something and send it out. It's the size of a postcard mixed medium paint, paper & pen on a underexposed photograph, to make the triangles and hand I had to scratch the photograph because I discovered that if i try to write/draw on one the ink will bleed :) .

The international union of mail-artist website turned out to be better than I expected! I already have received 3 things! This is going to be the 4th one I send.

Found text

I found this little piece of paper written in a foreign language, and the text seemed so beautiful that I had to keep it, I have no idea what it says except for a word or two written in English, I took it home got my exacto knife some glue and made this. I think it's Japanese but im not sure :)

2 bicycles

Today I made 2 bicycles :) and I got paint all over the place! but I think they came out good not perfect but who wants perfection! :)

Trying out a new way to print on shirts

I tried to do a shirt using a stamp roller and it came out ok but then I added more colors and then it wasn't ok anymore :) oh well.... I'll try again and perfect the technique. (The picture here doesn't have the other colors.)

Plane Spotting

Today I did what I like to call "Plane Spotting" I find it relaxing, and addicting ;) "one more plane! just one more, this next one is going to be a good one"

If you like to give it a try all you need is a camera, an airport, a secret spot, patience and luck . The planes go by very very fast! I got an average of 2-3 shots per plane so if you want a good chunk of pictures give your self a few hours yes a few hours :)

When we were young

I haven't done this in a long time so it's time to start doing it again.

I made this for my brushes

I had a piece of leather from a previous project and a bunch of brushes that needed a home so in about 15-20min I made this. No planning, no sketches, no measurements just some leather, an exacto knife, leather cord, some eyelets and a tool that makes perfect holes oh yeah and some creativity :)

Short walk

Today I took a short walk to the library. I found these purple flowers

Almost there

Today was a really nice day, I think that in a few more weeks all the gray clouds will be gone and only the white fluffy ones will remain :)

Stamp

Making stamps is not easy, one slip of the wrist and you ruin the design, when that happens I try to salvage the material in this case I ended up with this simple circle design.
