Bookend

So today I had lots of time on my hands and I felt like making something interesting like a sculpture but also something useful, I ended up making this "block" made out of clear caulk and im going to use it as a bookend. The block is made of clear caulk & it has some blue acrylic ink dried up in the center.

Projector

I finally got my hands on a projector! It's not a good one & it makes an infernal noise but I still like it, now I can take pictures of my favorite scenes :)

I finally found an old book on birds! I have been searching for an old book like this one for a long time, and the one I found today has everything I wanted, the old brownish pages that feel like sandpaper, the old book smell and many drawings. I really enjoy working with this already awesome bird drawings.

Got out of the office so late that all I had time to do is take these pictures,I think they came out kind of cool :)

Temporada de patos/ Duck season

This happened to me once before but,the previous time instead of ducks they were goose! I had to stop and let them cross the road :)

Seeds + dirt + water & sun = some kind of plant

Super long and crazy day today, it started early with my car refusing to start making me late for work, then I had to work with so many people it was crazy and deal with so many projects at once but, I finally made it back home to find that some mysterious seeds I found and planted 3 days ago were already growing! So with the energy and patience I had left I transplanted all the little plants on to a much bigger container. Now I just wait and see what I get, I hope they are candy trees or at least something edible :)

Yet another ampersand but this one isn't a drawing or a stamp it's a key chain! Just take your a couple of pliers do a few bends here and there and ta-da!

Today I was at Sandy & Boring OR. and snaped this two pics.

On this one I was trying to get the fields and Mt. Hood but I got this weird reflection from the dashboard, I think it looks cool.



This second one was from Sandy OR really nice small town lots of abandoned buildings like this one, next time im there i'll try to get more pics.

Two of my previous post have been about ships, and today I took a trip to my favorite antique store in search of old magazines and old anatomy books but instead I found this necklace! I just had to have it. :)

Fading history.

I recently saw this video and it was an inspiration for me to go walk downtown and try to capture images of the remains of old hand painted advertising.

I spotted a couple of old hidden signs between modern buildings, trees, new plastic signs etc... and they are still there but quickly being covered up, the good news is that there are also new ones being painted! :)
